Receiving Instructions

• Store at room temperature for up to 18 months.
• Product will naturally separate. Shake to mix.

Preparation Instructions

• In medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine risotto starter and 4 cups water or low-sodium chicken broth. Bring to boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to steady simmer.
• Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender and creamy, and liquid is mostly absorbed, 12 to 15 minutes.
• Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup (60g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese and 1 1/2 Tbs. unsalted butter until incorporated. Garnish with squeeze of fresh lemon juice and cracked black pepper, if desired, and serve.
• Serves 3 to 4.
