We take great pride in the quality of our merchandise. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 30 days of receiving the order for a full refund of the merchandise cost. For all cutlery returns (knife sets, single knives, cutting boards, knife sharpeners, and knife storage) please call us at 888.922.4108. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment. Cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

Please note that we cannot accept returns on monogrammed/personalized items, gift cards, special-order items, custom upholstery, food, items shipped direct from the vendor, or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. We also cannot accept returns of final-sale items, which are identified by a price ending in .99 or .97.

For returns of items purchased from your Williams Sonoma Gift Registry, we will gladly provide a refund or exchange for the merchandise within 90 days of your event or within 90 days of purchase, whichever date is later.

How to return an item

Begin by indicating the reason for return and whether you'd like a replacement or a merchandise credit. At the end of the process you'll be able to print a pre-paid UPS shipping label. Depending on the reason for return, you may be responsible for return shipping ($6.50 for a small package and $13.25 for large or bulk items). If your return for Merchandise Credit Cards is greater than $10,000, we will issue $10,000 in Merchandise Credit Cards to you that day, and then mail additional Merchandise Credit Card(s) for the amount in excess of $10,000 to you.

Please note that online returns are available only for items that are 70 lbs. and under and were shipped to the United States (includes US Territories and APO/FPO). Online returns can only be used when you bring your items to a UPS drop-off location or schedule a UPS pickup.
