During the holidays, opening your home to friends and family is a much-loved custom. As your guests mingle, offer them delicious food and drink, but the selections need not be elaborate. We've created an open-house menu of savories and sweets—simple bites that are easy to prepare yet satisfying to eat, from mushrooms stuffed with Serrano ham to bourbon-infused chocolate truffles. Everything can be prepared in advance and served buffet style. When your guests arrive, welcome them with mugs of hot spiced cider spiked with Calvados and raise a toast to the holiday season.
