Bourbon Ginger Beer Float

This grown-up version of an ice cream float, made with vanilla ice cream, bourbon and ginger beer, was created for us by the beverage experts at Bourbon & Branch, a noted San Francisco bar.


  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream   
  • 2 oz. bourbon whiskey
  • Ginger beer (not ginger ale) as needed


Place the ice cream in a chilled beer mug. Add the bourbon and top with ginger beer. Serve immediately. Serves 1.
