Cookware Sets

Induction cookware sets are a big change from your ordinary cookware, and it is a commitment and an investment that should bear fruit for you in no time. Since not all pans are induction compatible, purchasing sets with designs that are specific for this style of cooking is the best way to go. Williams-Sonoma has a fine selection of induction cookware sets, as well as other induction cookware for specialty cooking.


Our lineup of induction cookware sets range from basic five-piece sets to sets with as many as 27 pieces. These pieces include fry pans, saucepans, sauciers, Dutch ovens and inserts such as boilers and steamers. Although most of our induction cookware has stainless-steel as a primary material, other cookware sets consist of cast-iron, copper and ceramic materials. The cookware also comes in a variety of designs including octagonal pans, pans with hammered copper exterior stylings and pans that feature the signature look of its particular brand. You also have the option of choosing according to the features of each cookware set such as nonstick PFOA-free ceramic coating, clear glass covers, sauce and stock pouring channels and detachable handles.


Some of our cookware sets include other items that are useful and make your cooking tasks easier. For instance, one of our induction cookware sets comes with nonstick cooking tools that complement the nonstick surface of the cookware. These tools, which also come with a canister organizer, include a solid turner, a slotted spoon, a slotted turner and a large ladle. If your limited kitchen space prevents you from owning large cookware and cooking utensil sets, we also have specialized induction cookware that handles multiple cooking tasks including roasting, braising and simmering soups and stews.


When shopping for induction cookware sets, one of the best ways to make your selection is to determine which sets suit your cooking habits well. For example, if you are the type who prefers slow and steady cooking, choose induction cookware with a heavy base. Although the pieces take time to heat up, this type of cookware distributes heat more evenly. Check the dimensions of the pan and select those that have a thicker base.


If you prefer simple and fast cooking, on the other hand, go for stainless-steel cookware with a base with multiple layers. These types of induction cookware pieces distribute heat fast and react to temperature adjustments quickly. Once you have chosen which type of induction cookware set is right for you, choose according to your design preference and maintenance requirements.
