Rated 1 out of 5 by aac87 from Disappointed I was intimidated by my new mandolin and spiralizer so ordered this as part of my own birthday gift. After only the third use, the fingertip part of the thumb and of the index finger has holes in it.Date published: 2019-03-25Rated 5 out of 5 by Mnmaineiac from For more than just cooking I have a stained glass and fused glass hobby and these gloves are great for protecting my hands when I pick through my glass scraps!Date published: 2018-07-20Rated 5 out of 5 by CulinaryCailliers from Perfect for grating/cutting We use this glove while grating and zesting and it has saved my hands from a few scratches.Date published: 2017-06-13Rated 5 out of 5 by CatieV from A must-have for grating! I am so grate-ful (ha! pun intended!) for this little glove. I used to sport bloody knuckles, on a regular basis, from grating cheese and garlic. I haven't had a single knick since I started wearing this glove! I store it with all of my graters so that I never forget to wear it!Date published: 2015-11-12Rated 5 out of 5 by cccjto from Give them as a gift people will thank you Well worth the price they save my hands and because of that I grate fresh fruits and vegetable all the time now that I don't grate my hands too.Date published: 2015-09-08Rated 5 out of 5 by SomeonesMom from Great Glove I love using this glove with the microplaner. It makes it so easy not to get cut. I have 2 of these gloves, one just for garlic and one for citrus peels. I keep them in separate freezer bags in my freezer when the gloves aren't being used. Great product.Date published: 2015-08-28Rated 5 out of 5 by pinkmagnolia from Allows me to work a lot faster! I came accross this while I was browsing the Cook's Tools 20% off sale. I love my Microplane Box Grater because it is so sharp, but I have clipped off the ends of several fingernails while using it. So, I thought; "what the heck, I'll give this glove a try." I just used it tonight and I grated several carrots much more quickly than usual because I wasn't constantly worried about cutting off a nail or even worse skinning my finger. I could feel the glove hitting the grater and it protected my hand very nicely and allowed me to grate more quickly than usual. I would definitely recommend using this with the box grater!Date published: 2013-11-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Ellendy from Great Finger Protection I purchased two of these about a year ago to use with my Microplane graters because I had an annoying history of grating the tips of my fingers. I imagine that it's true that the glove will shred if you actually try to grate through it, but the point is that the glove protects your fingertips. The second I feel the grater touch the glove tips, I back off and reposition. I have been using the same one for over a year and have not had to pull out my back up yet.Date published: 2013-10-08
