It says it works well on induction cooktop, but it doesn’t have a magnetic base. Has anybody use this on their induction cooktop

Is this in the 3 ply series

Can I fry there meat and vegetables before to put water and boil it?

For Browning, Sautéing and Searing: Start with food at room temperature. Dry food before cooking to prevent splattering. Preheat pan on low to moderate heat before cooking. Water will dance on pan when ready. Add enough oil to cover the pan’s surface. Add food to the pan when the oil is hot. You will see a faint vapor when the oil is ready. Food should sizzle when added to the pan. Allow the food to cook. On stainless, it will be ready to turn when it no longer sticks to the pan. After removing food from pan, use browned food bits for sauce by deglazing with wine or stock.

Is there a lid without the drain?

The options currently listed are the only options for each item, and we are not given advance notice of when more options will be available. There are All-Clad soup pots that have a solid lid. We do change up our collections seasonally, however, so be sure to keep an eye out.

The lid is placed on at a slight angle and then turned so that the arrows are lined up with the handles, locking it into place.
