
Lillet Spring Cocktail
A French aperitif that combines white wine, herbs and citrus, Lillet makes a great base for a refreshing cocktail that’s perfect for either an elegant Easter brunch or sipping on a warm summer afternoon. Use freshly squeezed grapefruit juice for the best results.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. (60 ml) white Lillet
- 2 oz. (60 ml) fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 1/2 oz. (45 ml) gin
- 1 oz. (320 ml) elderflower syrup
- Splash of sparkling water
- Grapefruit slice for garnish
Directions:
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the Lillet, grapefruit juice, gin and elderflower syrup. Shake vigorously until well chilled. Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice and top off with a splash of sparkling water. Garnish with the grapefruit slice and serve. Makes 1 drink.
