If you’ve already fired up the grill to roast your Thanksgiving turkey, why not prepare the gravy there as well? We teamed up with Traeger to create this super-simple version that will do justice to the succulent bird. Just combine our exclusive gravy base with milk, place on the grill grate and cook until heated through. To enhance the flavor even more, whisk in a little turkey stock, pan drippings or dry sherry.

Ingredients:

  • 1 jar Williams Sonoma Classic Turkey Gravy Base
  • 2 1/4 cups (18 fl. oz./560 ml) milk
  • Turkey stock, pan drippings from roasted turkey or dry sherry, to taste (optional)
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

Directions:

Set the temperature on a Traeger wood pellet grill to 350°F (180°C), close the lid and preheat according to the manufacturer’s instructions for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a saucepan, whisk together the gravy base and milk.

Place the pan on the grill and cook, whisking occasionally, until the gravy is heated through, about 10 minutes. If desired, whisk in turkey stock, turkey pan drippings or dry sherry, to taste. Season with salt and pepper.

Transfer the gravy to a gravy boat or small pitcher and serve hot. Serves 8 to 12.
