Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food, items shipped direct from the vendor or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 or .99 cannot be returned.

I bought this on a whim when I was at the W-S store getting Emile Henry ruffled pie dishes for my strawberry rhubarb pies. My recipe from Bon Appetit called for a plain, all-butter top crust with a few steam vents slashed in the top, but I wanted to do a lattice top due to the high water content and low pectin of rhubarb and strawberries. A lattice top allows more moisture to evaporate during baking, lessening the risk of a watery pie that doesn't hold its shape. However, an all-butter crust is finicky to work with due to butter's low melting point. It falls apart if you handle it too much. The lattice piecrust cutter enabled me to create my lattice top in mere seconds without touching the dough with my hands, so it stayed nice and cold, and it was very easy to transport to my pie. I might do a butter/shortening combo lattice crust the traditional way, with woven strips, because that method is a little prettier, but I will never again try to do an all butter lattice top without this cutter. My pie came out looking beautiful, filling held together well, and the richness of the buttery crust was the perfect contrast to the sweet-tart rhubarb filling. I put one on bottom, then added apple mixture . I then go to use the lattice pie gadget. The directions are few and poorly written. Does not make sense. It says to place lattice insert in bottom, well bottom means below. Does not tell you to turn it over!! So first I put the dough on top and rolled it out and that did not work. Had to ask my hubby to help. We went online and we able to see pictures , to help us. Take the bigger piece that has the cutter and face it up. Then take the insert and place it on top, so it fits and the tabs lock. Put dough on the insert and roll out, keep rolling so the little diamond pieces pop out, When they are all out, lift carefully the insert. Quickly flip insert over the pie filing. Now it will fall fast so you might have to fix the dough. One thing they do not tell you is to add flour or baking spray to the plastic , so dough doesn't stick.
