Easter Carrot Cake, Serves 8-10

Baked to the Easter Bunny's high standards, our special springtime cake gets its fresh flavor from shredded carrots, crushed pineapple, walnuts, and plenty of cinnamon and brown sugar. It's made from scratch by the artisans of We Take the Cake with the finest ingredients. The towering treat features four tiers of moist carrot cake that are layered with cream cheese frosting. It's covered in more rich cream cheese frosting, then topped with a swirl of fresh caramel, crushed walnuts and fondant carrots with buttercream leaves.

Receiving Instructions

• Cake ships frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.
• Upon receipt, remove cake from shipping container and store in freezer for up to 3 months. Alternatively, remove plastic wrap from cake and store in refrigerator for up to 7 days.

Serving Instructions

• Cake is best enjoyed at room temperature. If frozen, remove plastic from cake and place bakery box in refrigerator overnight. Once thawed, remove box from refrigerator approx. 2 hours before serving. To avoid color changes, keep cake in its box, out of direct light, while bringing to room temperature.
• To serve, run large knife under hot water and dry with towel before every slice. Store leftover cake in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 3 days.

• Carrot Cake: All-purpose flour, brown sugar, shredded carrots, crushed pineapple, walnuts, trans-fat-free liquid vegetable shortening, eggs, cinnamon, salt.
• Cream Cheese Frosting: Butter, cream cheese (pasteurized milk, cream cheese culture, salt, guar gum, carob bean gum, xanthan gum), powdered sugar, natural vanilla, salt.
• Caramel: Sugar, water, corn syrup, palm oil, contains 2% or less of the following: caramel color, mono- and diglycerides, salt, natural flavors, artificial flavors, polysorbate 60, potassium sorbate (preservative), citric acid, agar.
• Orange Fondant: Sugar, corn syrup, water, palm oil, gum tragacanth, natural flavors, artificial flavors, cellulose gum, modified cornstarch, potassium sorbate, glycerin, acetic acid, Yellow #6.
• Buttercream Carrot Leaves: Powdered sugar, butter, vanilla salt, green food coloring (water, high-fructose corn syrup, glycerin, FD&C Yellow #5 [E102], sugar, modified food starch, Blue #1[E133], citric acid, sodium benzoate [preservative], potassium sorbate [preservative], carrageenan gum, xanthan gum).
• Walnuts: Walnuts.
