Use & Care


  • Oven safe to 450°F.
  • Before first use, hand-wash the pans in warm water with mild dishwashing soap.
  • Due to this bakeware's heat efficiency, we suggest monitoring the oven temperature and baking time for the first few uses, then making adjustments to recipes as necessary.
  • Use only wood, silicone or plastic utensils to avoid scratching the surface.
  • Do not cut baked goods while they are in the pan.
  • Pan will darken slightly with use. This is normal and will enhance its performance.


  • Hand-wash.
  • Never use abrasive cleaning products or scouring pads.

Next Day Delivery

For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. This service is not available for some oversize items, items shipped directly from the supplier (including perishable and custom-manufactured items), out-of-stock items and items to be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states.

Orders received by 9:00 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

Return Policy

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

For all cutlery returns (knife sets, single knives, cutting boards, knife sharpeners and knife storage), please contact us at 888.922.4108 to initiate the return.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food, items shipped direct from the vendor or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 or .99 cannot be returned.

Made to Order and Final Sale Furniture items are non-returnable and cannot be cancelled once the order is placed.

They are super heavy but my bread didn't brown and it was difficult to take the pans out of the oven because there is nothing to hold onto. It was a two handed operation. I thought they would be great for bread but I was disappointed in how my bread turned out.

Not pictured is the large Williams Sonoma logo embossed on the bottom of the pan - giving each of your homemade loaves an ugly imprint. I realize it's on the bottom of the loaves, and I (the baker) am the only person that will likely see it - but I find it quite distasteful and would have at least liked to see this in the product photographs before purchasing.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with the Basics I own this one and the Goldtouch Nonstick pan and have been using for several years. I always use each of these at the same time because a lot of quick bread recipes call for two pans, so it is fun to compare the results. The Goldtouch turns out a lot darker, but yes the bread slides out easier. However, the color and texture of the bread is perfect in the Traditional finish, and I think the bread comes out tastier and less chewy on the surface. I just have to run a thin plastic knife around the edge of the bread to release but that is no issue. I also just soak both pans for several hours for cleanup, and they are a breeze to rinse off. The key is to soak right away. I came back to this product description because I am going to buy another one of this traditional finish loaf pan. It keeps winning the bakeoff every time! (I use for meatloaf, wheat bread, quick bread, etc).)

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Loaf Pan This pan is heavy-duty, high-quality, and makes perfect bread every time. I love it. And I love the traditional finish. I plan on using this pan forever. Others have mentioned difficulty cleaning, but I disagree. This is certainly not difficult at all. If something is stuck in the corner, soak the pan in water for a few minutes and then use a toothpick to scrape out the corner. I have never had a problem getting food out of the corner. Alternatively, use extra grease in the corners with the seams.

I bought 2 of these pans because I own many pieces of Williams-Sonoma bakeware and love it all... however, this is an item I regret purchasing. Although they cook evenly and are durable, these pans are very difficult to clean because food gets stuck in the corner seams, just as other reviewers have stated. I know others have said you just need to use a toothpick to scrape the food out, but I feel that it is unacceptable to have to go to such great lengths to clean this product. It needs redesigned in order to be worth the price and to live up to the quality Williams-Sonoma is known for. Between working, being the mom of a busy toddler, and keeping my home, the last thing I want to do is spend 5-10 extra minutes tediously cleaning the corners of these pans. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, but especially not to anyone who values convenience and quick clean up in the kitchen.

  • Is this product coated with non stick chemicals?

    HI Shimo, Our Traditionaltouch bakeware is uncoated. The commercial finish is designed for traditional pan preparation methods, such as greasing and flouring or you may use Silpat or parchment paper.
