Rated 1 out of 5 by nettie from Disappointing I bought my first Goldtouch sheet pans(2 half sheets & 2 quarter sheets) about 2 years ago. They baked and cleaned beautifully, so I bought cake pans (2 sizes), 4 cookie sheets & muffin pans (2 sizes). All went well until about 6 months ago. I use the sheet pans & cookie sheets most often. All of a sudden, they are impossible to clean. Grease gets stuck in the grooves and impossible to remove. Now the coating is beginning to come off. Also, grease is beginning to collect on the sides and bottom, equally impossible to remove. We have always cleaned them really well after each use and never put in the dishwasher. What a disappointment especially for the price. Should have kept my old ones! I wish those folks who rated them 5 stars good luck. Mine did great at first but not anymore.Date published: 2018-02-17Rated 1 out of 5 by lkd02 from Goldtouch Material Comes Off The Goldtouch nonstick material came off on the fish sticks I baked for my kids! Obviously this is not safe to eat. The grooves in the pan make it extremely difficult to scrub off all of the food particles from the pan. You would think that a pan with nonstick material would be easy to clean and not come off on food. On a positive note, the pans are heavy and sturdy.Date published: 2017-08-29Rated 5 out of 5 by gotrrWS from Luv these pans It's hard for me to say just how much I love these baking sheets. The quarter size pans are weighty without being too heavy. Not even the gooeyist formulas stick. Cleanup is a piece of cake with the icing being that they can go into the dishwasher without any wear on the non-stick coating. My only complaint is that I like to stack the trays perpendicular as I am working to fill them all before placing them in the oven. The non-stick coating is slick and the quarter size trays slide a bit making is difficult to stack them in this manner. I don't have this problem with the three quarter size trays. They're much heavier and don't slide as much. But, that's a minor inconvenience. As I said, I love this bakeware; the round cake pans, rectangular pans, mini bundt pans and muffin pans all perform similarly well. I highly recommend this bakeware.Date published: 2017-06-13Rated 2 out of 5 by NYcitygirl from Didn't live up to expectations I have many pieces of Goldtouch bakeware and they work like a dream. Nothing sticks and everything is baked to perfection. Well, these pans have presented some difficulty. I roasted some potatoes in them, lined with parchment no less. at about 400 degrees, and now I can't get the pan clean. There is grease baked on to the sides and it won't budge. I have tried degreasers, soaking, baking soda with vinegar, and prayers, and nothing will budge this baked on grease. I don't understand how a non stick pan can have so much stuck to it. Those grooves don't help either. They are very difficult to clean. I wish they would do away with those silly grooves and just have a smooth surface. It is so much easier to clean. Also, the gold on the back of the pan is showing signs of wearing off.Date published: 2017-03-28Rated 5 out of 5 by hipchick127 from Best Baking Sheet I own this set of the 1/4 sheets and I also own a 1/2 sheet and cake pan, all in the gold touch. Everything always bakes even and does NOT stick. (I do grease my cake pans and use parchment for cookies. Meatballs always come out perfect without greasing first). The 1/4 sheet size is perfect for my small apartment oven broiler! Clean up has always been a breeze.Date published: 2017-02-22Rated 2 out of 5 by WSGadgetJunkie from Hard to Clean/Goldtouch Comes Off I have found after several uses that the Goldtouch finish comes off when you have to scrub to clean in between the ridges on this pan which is very hard and time consuming to do. It is impossible to get it completely clean even after soaking. It does have a nice weight to it, but I would recommend a simpler pan without the ridges in aluminum or stainless steel for easier cleaning and finish longevity.Date published: 2017-01-01Rated 5 out of 5 by CMCM49 from Very Useful Size I've bought a number of Goldtouch bakeware items and really love the weight and quality. I have found these quarter sheet pans to be extremely useful. For cookies I use parchment paper so there is very little cleanup, but when something has cooked onto the pans they are extremely quick and easy to clean. I hand wash all my Goldtouch pans, which is no big deal because they clean up so early. I may eventually get the large cookie sheet, but so far these two have done the job.Date published: 2016-12-28Rated 5 out of 5 by MichiganBaker from Seriously GREAT baking pan I have used the pans so far for baking pastries, cookies and appetizers (with bacon in them). They heat and brown beautifully and evenly. The cleanup is excellent, even burnt bits wipe off. These are heavy duty pans, not lightweight.Date published: 2016-12-14
