- Ideal for use on any cooktop, including induction; not recommended for glass stove tops.
- Oven and broiler safe up to 500°F.
- For best results use low to medium heat.
- When using high heat, bring your pan slowly to a high temperature.
- Use plastic, wood or nylon utensils only; metal utensils may damage the enamel.
- Enamel may chip or crack if banged against a hard surface.
- Handles can become very hot. Always use a pot holder or glove when handling.
- Allow pan to cool before washing.
- Dishwasher safe.
- Stubborn stains can be removed by soaking your pot for a few minutes in hot, soapy water.
- Completely dry pan before storing.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads, harsh detergents, bleach or abrasive cleaners.

Staub traces its origin to the Alsace region of France, where founder Francis Staub designed his first enameled pot while working in an old French artillery factory in 1974. With the goal of creating the perfect pot for cooking the region’s traditional hearty soups, stews and braises, he combined cast iron, the most popular material of the time, with the latest enameling technology available. Today, Staub still makes its cookware at a traditional atelier in France, casting each pot in an individual sand mold, which is heated to 800°F and destroyed after use. The exterior enamel coating is made with glass powder and mineral pigments, applied in two or three coats to generate brilliant glossy colors.
Rated 5 out of 5 by bessoncape from Spectacular Pan! I've used my 15 inch paella pan for about a year now and absolutely LOVE it. The cooking surface is huge and heats evenly. My favorite use is covering the pan with disks of king oyster mushrooms and searing them, then tossing in garlic, cooked pasta, asparagus pieces, season then bring to table. This pan holds heat and looks great on the table too. I occasionally use Bar Keepers Friend to remove foggy cooking marks on the inside, consequently, it still looks new. The only down side is this is a BIG pan and takes up a lot of storage space, our solution was to hang it on the wall. I love anything Staub, but I particularly like the floor size of this pan combined with the double handles, which make it so incredibly easy to maneuver. I will be using this every day. I just received this pan and used it for french toast, which came out perfect. I started it on low while I gathered the ingredients, boosted the heat to medium-low, added a little butter, and fit three pieces at a time. Clean-up was a drop of Dawn, a little warm water and a few swishes of my cloth. Had it been burgers or after browning something, I would have heated the soapy water a few minutes or maybe just let it soak a little, and then basically the same swiping. It behaves like my other Staub fry pans, which I love, but with the double handles it feels/handles like a nimble race car compared to the long handled pans. I couldn't believe that it is actually about 2 oz. heavier than my long handled 10" Staub. Plus, the floor of this pan is sized between my 10" and 12" fry pans. It's a perfect size for so much of what I cook these days. Looks like my daughter will finally get my long handled 10" Staub. This 10" paella pan does not have the flared sides of the 15.5" pan, which I also have. The larger pan performs well too although I don't have occasion to use it as often as when my children were home. I don't make paella, but both pans work well for burgers, chicken, eggs, etc. In fact, the only thing I don't like about this pan is the name. I feel it is limiting. This is a fantastic all purpose pan, but how many people will slide their eyes right past this offering because it is called a paella pan rather than a "fry pan" or "double handled pan" or "incredibly versatile pan"? If your Staub isn't performing beyond your expectations, go consult with a representative about what's going on cause these pans are everything a serious cook or professional chef dream off.
