What dishes are best for the Ruffoni Historia Hammered Copper Roasting Pan for this casserole?

It is ideally suited for roast meats and poultry, with a domed lid that accommodates a large bird or roast. Generous 13 3/4-qt. capacity. Sized to feed the extended family. It’s designed for cooking and serving a main course.

Is the copper easy to maintain for the Ruffoni Historia Hammered Copper Roasting Pan?

The copper exterior needs hand-washing, immediate drying, and occasional polishing if you want to keep its original shine. Copper develops a rich patina over time. Use copper polish or lemon and salt on the exterior. Avoid steel wool, scouring pads, and harsh detergents. Allow the dish to cool before washing. The tin lining may discolor with use and can eventually need replacement depending on how often it’s used.

Can the Ruffoni Historia Hammered Copper Roasting Pan be used on stovetops?

Yes, it is ideal for gas and electric cooktops, but it is not compatible with induction cooktops. Use low to moderate heat on the stovetop. Do not heat the pan empty. It is also oven safe up to 430°F.
