This aromatic truffle oil gives delicious new meaning to the phrase "liquid gold." The secrets to its extraordinary flavor are winter-harvested Italian white truffles from Le Marche, prized for their rich, earthy character. The fresh truffles are naturally infused into extra-virgin oil made from estate-grown California olives, creating a creamy golden elixir. Count on this fragrant organic oil to add complex umami flavor to everything from grilled meats and fish to pasta, risotto and egg dishes. It comes to us from Ian Purkayastha of Regalis Foods, a top purveyor of rare truffles and authentic truffle condiments for Michelin-starred chefs around the world.

- About Regalis Foods
Regalis Foods was founded in 2012 by Ian Purkayastha—one of the youngest-ever truffle purveyors. Ian first discovered the delights of foraging with his uncle, who taught him to hunt for wild mushrooms in the Alabama countryside—and introduced him to the savory magic of European truffles. At the age of 15, Ian started a business delivering wild mushrooms to local chefs, riding his bicycle from one restaurant to the next. His enterprise grew into Regalis Foods, an extraordinary New York company "dedicated to purveying nature's rarest gems to an extensive list of Michelin-starred restaurants, home cooking enthusiasts and truffle lovers world-wide." Today, Williams-Sonoma is proud to be the exclusive retailer for Ian's legendary truffle condiments.

Rated 1 out of 5 by K90Last from Huge Disappointment! My advice after this experience is never to order blindly on line, even with Williams-Sonoma. I will purchase something this special when I have time to go in & smell it for myself. I purchased this for a very special meal & it was not enhanced at all buy the use of this Regalis White Truffle oil. As soon as I opened it I was reluctant, it smelled rancid but bc I had purchased this for a special occasion, I had to try it. You couldn't detect white truffle even in the slightest. I am calling Williams Sonoma to let them know how unhappy I am with this purchase. If I can send it back, I will! Terribly disappointing...Date published: 2019-09-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Larknado from So so good The Regalis White Truffle Oil is hands down the best truffle oil I have ever tried and from now on I will not purchase any other brand. From the first time you open the bottle the aroma is so enticing and mouthwatering it has you craving more. I love using the oil to garnish homemade pasta or pizza or sometimes over fresh french fries as my guilty pleasure :) I HIGHLY recommend this product as you will not regret it.Date published: 2017-02-01Rated 5 out of 5 by mpstat from excellent white truffle oil Lots of truffle oils contain artificial flavorings or made from low quality & less expensive truffles. Not this one! I got three truffle products from Regalis: black truffle oil, white truffle oil, and white truffle butter. All of those are excellent. Prior to the purchase I called the company to get clarifications what "truffle infusion" on their ingredient list means. They responded that per their production process during the first phase of the process they make very strong truffle infusion with just truffles and olive oil, During the second phase they add the infusion to the rest of the oil. White truffle oil has more delicate aroma than black truffle oil. They are different in this respect. Both are excellent. You just need a few drops drizzled on a plated dish prior to serving.Date published: 2016-12-28
