When time is of the essence, you’ll appreciate the latest revolution in French baking: the first truly ready-to-bake premium croissants. Created by master pastry chef Jean-Yves Charon, these petite pastries are prepared by hand with the same all-natural ingredients as our other croissants. They go straight from freezer to oven without a minute of proofing and bake up light and airy, with a delicate flaky texture and a hint of buttery richness. Sized for three or four scrumptious bites, they’re perfect last-minute treats for brunch or tea, kids’ breakfasts and impromptu entertaining.

  • Freezer-to-oven croissants bake in just 20 minutes with exceptional results.
  • 20 mini classic croissants (1 lb. 8 oz. total).
  • Baked size: 5" x 1 1/2" x 1" high.
  • Shipped frozen.
  • Made in USA.
Use & Care

Receiving instructions

  • The croissants ship frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch the dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, remove croissants from the shipping container and place in the freezer, where they will keep for up to one month.

  • Place frozen pastries on a parchment-lined baking sheet to defrost while the oven is preheating. Heat oven to 375°F. Optional: Brush the top of the pastries with an egg wash before putting the tray in the oven. Bake for 18–20 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, enzyme, ascorbic acid [dough conditioner]), water, butter, sugar, yeast, dough conditioner (wheat gluten, wheat flour, malted wheat flour, acerola extract, enzymes), salt.

  • Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as good as the overnight version. These turn out just as nicely as their "overnight" versions. We actually purchase both on a regular basis. I've served these mini classics freezer-to-oven croissants to people who did not know that they weren't the overnight type and they didn't know the difference until I told them. You do have to make sure that follow the package directions. Really handy to have in the freezer as you don't have to plan ahead to enjoy them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy! I love the original mini croissants that rise & buy for all holidays, these are terrible. They do not rise, brown to quickly & are raw/doughy. I will never buy again. The chocolate ones are good & rise nicely. I should get a refund, definitely not worth the price!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!! I have been buying these for years but once they came out with the ‘freezer to oven’ instead of the ones that rise overnight I thought I would give them a try. Don’t bother. The quality is terrible especially considering the price. They do not rise at all and they cook very unevenly. Always too brown on the bottom and too doughy and under cooked in the middle and on top. I tried to turn them over because the top was so undercooked but that didn’t help. Also they are extremely greasy and not light and flakey but just very dense and crispy. I have tried all sorts of variation on where I place the rack in the oven, different types of baking sheets and oven temperatures but no matter what I do they are just not very good. I will not buy these again. The classic ones that rise overnight are the only ones I will buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Remarkably good It took a few tries to get these right with my Miele convection oven, but the results have been very worth it. I bake at 360F for 20 min and get a very nice croissant. I put the croissants on a small sheet of parchment paper and that on a folded paper towel to catch extra butter. Taste and texture are perhaps not quite up to top-flight bistro standard, but very good and very much in the class of the much more finecky overnight versions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not sure why everyone else is complaining... These were absolutely delicious. Just as good as the overnight rise croissants. I'm not sure where all these haters are coming from. Maybe they didn't read the directions? Don't listen to the bad reviews and try them for yourself.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Massive disappointment. These are a pale imitation and vastly inferior product. Go with the overnight rise. Horrible value.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Croissants came defrosted. Baked them anyway. Terrible results. Would never buy again. Very disappointed customer

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I thought I would give these freezer-to oven mini croissants a try. Total disappointment. The amount of grease that was left on the baking sheet was awful with the croissants taking an age to brown and hardly rising. I think I will stick to the conventional croissants which are excellent.
