In 2019, Le Creuset has increased the Stoneware warranty from 5 years to 10 years.

This is a reflection of the confidence we have in our product performance and the company's commitment to producing quality stoneware.

The warranty covers faulty workmanship and/or materials when the product is used in normal domestic conditions in accordance with the care and use instructions provided. It does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use or misuse of the product.

Defective stoneware will be replaced free of charge, or replaced by a similar product or one of equivalent value if the original product is no longer in production. Replacement with the same color cannot be guaranteed.

Damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use.

Scratches, stains, discoloration, corrosion or damage from overheating to the interior or exterior of the pan.

Consequential damage is expressly excluded from this warranty.

The warranty begins on the date of purchase by the original owner, whether a self-purchase or received as a gift.

To make a warranty claim, consumers should call the Le Creuset helpline at 1-877-CREUSET (273-8738) to obtain a Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to mailing their cookware to us.

Once an authorization number is received, the product should be mailed to the address below. We recommend using a traceable means to return the product as Le Creuset of America, Inc., is not responsible for damages or lost or stolen merchandise. • Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product! I absolutely love my chicken baker. I have never been disappointed with anything I have prepared in it and I am convinced it improves the flavor and texture of the food. I purchased the white one and was concerned it might be difficult to clean, but it not only makes every single thing I bake in it taste incredible, it is also super easy to clean and store. It is without doubt one of the best purchases ever! Thank you WS!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Le Creuset is top notch I own several Le Creuset cookware and skillet pieces. It is the Cadillac of cookware for so many things. My husband got this for me as a present some time ago because I wanted it. I already had a Le Creuset Dutch Oven and another Le Creuset Oval Baker...both of which I use nearly every week, but wanted to add this deep covered baker to my arsenal. However, I just don't grab it nearly as often as the other two pieces aforementioned. As another commenter already said, if you have the Dutch Oven, it is a bit redundant, unless you need several pieces of cookware at once. I make all kinds of meats...whole chicken, pork and beef roasts, various stews, etc. But my Dutch Oven or Oval Baker works just fine for those tasks, and it's easy to go from browning and sauteing right into the oven. The Deep Covered Baker has bumps on the bottom's surface, so I wouldn't use it to brown or saute, which is maybe another reason I don't grab it as often. I have yet to try any casserole in this baker, so it may be great for that. Ultimately though, it just doesn't get the use my other two get. It still has that terrific enameled surface, so cleaning is extremely easy. And the baker looks good and is nice and deep, so that's a plus. It's just not what I consider a go-to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! This was my first piece of Le Creuset (a birthday gift to myself) and I am so pleased! I've used this baker to make lasagna, roasted chicken, and even bread. Everything cooks evenly and well, and the baker keeps the food warm long after it's taken out of the oven. The enameled surface makes for easy clean-up (no more soaking, like I had to do with my glass bakeware). I can even store the baker in the refrigerator if need be (remove the cover and use foil to cover the dish). Now that I see that the baker is still in stock, I may have to purchase another in a different color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Skip this if you own a dutch oven I've been wanting one of these for some time before finally getting one. It cooks great but if you already own a dutch oven then you can skip this. I find the dutch oven more versatile than this because it can go on the stove top and in the oven. The only time I can see this coming in handy is during the holidays when multiple large dishes need to be cooked at once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite new baker!! I purchased this baker a couple months ago and am delighted to discover that I use it frequently. I did not realize how useful the shape and depth of this baker would be for many dishes. It has become universal in my kitchen. Everything from small roasts to meatballs. Not only do I cook in it - the baker is fantastic for oven reheating. And cleanup is a breeze. Nothing sticks to it and a very quick wash is all it takes to make it perfectly clean like new again. The price is extremely good given this baker's quality and usefulness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A go to dish This is a great dish but could be a little deep and therefore take longer for your meal to cook. It is heavy, but cooks evenly and looks beautiful.

I have this baker and would like to use it to bake potatoes, carrots and onions that won’t fit in my slow cooker with the massive pot roast. At what temperature and how long should I bake them? Lid on or off? Thank you!

    Asked by: Lglenn10910
Hi Lglenn10910, We suggest cooking at 425°F for 45 -60 minutes, stirring once about halfway through and checking a few times along the way for doneness. We would leave the lid off to achieve a little more browning/texture on the vegetables, but if you want tender vegetables without browning, more like you would get if you actually cooked the vegetables with the pot roast, you can leave the lid on.
