Hickory Smoked Whole Turkey, 10-12lbs

The Cajun Turkey Company has been making the most succulent Cajun fried turkey since 1994. Billy Howell started the family business in his Louisiana garage, and it's grown to include more Southern specialties, including exceptional smoked meats like this hickory-smoked turkey. Each plump turkey is hand basted with a special brown-sugar smoke cure, then slow smoked for hours to produce a tender, flavorful result. The turkey arrives fully cooked and ready to eat – warm it in the oven for a hearty Thanksgiving dinner with plenty of leftovers for sandwiches.

Receiving Instructions

• The turkey is shipped frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.

Preparation Instructions

• If turkey is frozen, thaw unopened in refrigerator for 48 hours. 
• Turkey is fully cooked and needs only warming in the oven before serving. Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove plastic from turkey and cover the turkey in foil. Place foil-wrapped turkey in pan and warm in preheated oven for 60–75 minutes or until warm. Do not overheat.

• Turkey, water, potassium lactate, sodium diacetate, brown sugar cure (salt, brown sugar, sodium nitrate), sodium phosphate, modified food starch, carrageenan gum, xanthan gum, salt.
