Each sweet yeast loaf is made by hand and packed with plump rum-soaked raisins and dried fruits. After shaping and baking, the loaf is dipped in melted butter and vanilla sugar, then finished with a sprinkling of confectioners' sugar. A festive holiday gift, stollen makes the perfect treat for breakfast, brunch or afternoon tea.

Ingredients

RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS
- Store in cool, dry place for up to 6 weeks.
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F. Wrap stollen (whole loaf or portion) in aluminum foil and bake until just warmed through, about 7 to 15 minutes, depending on size. Remove from oven and unwrap foil, dust with powdered sugar, slice and serve.
- Toaster Oven: Preheat toaster oven to 350°F. To heat a slice of stollen, use serrated knife to cut bread into 1/2"-thick slices. Place in toaster oven and cook until just warmed through and slightly browned. (To heat a larger piece, see instructions for oven.) Dust with powdered sugar, slice and serve.
- Microwave: To heat a slice of stollen, use serrated knife to cut bread into 1/2"-thick slices. Place in microwave and cook until just warmed through, about 10 seconds. To heat a larger piece or whole loaf, heat at 15-second intervals until just warmed through. Dust with powdered sugar, slice if needed and serve.
