Rated 5 out of 5 by Jazz54 from Great Burger Press I have a burger family, this product is for you. You can create uniform patties every time or customize the thickness of each patty depending on your preference. Every household should have one!Date published: 2017-10-20Rated 5 out of 5 by SRHamilton007 from Works great for uniform burgers. Works great to keep every burger uniform. Can also be used for stuffed burgers. Be sure to purchase hamburger patty papers to help keep press clean. After use be sure to disassemble entire press, wash thoroughly & towel dry. Little meat particles can get caught under the moving press pieces & start to deteriorate (& smell) if not fully cleaned. Also if not fully dried, water can cause mineral deposits. If treated right this burger press can last forever. Highly recommended.Date published: 2016-05-23Rated 5 out of 5 by jsavage from Multiple Purpose Press I recently bought this press and have so far used it for burger patties, salmon patties, sausage patties, and pie crust rounds for mini pies and appetizers. It adjusts easily for different thicknesses and comes apart beautifully for easy cleaning. Also is sturdy and well made - so easy to use. It arrived promptly and well packaged as have all my Williams Sonoma orders. I would not hesitate to give this as a gift..Date published: 2015-03-09Rated 5 out of 5 by LTO1 from Take it apart to clean It's great to make uniform burgers that look like they just came from Fresh Market. This press easily shapes burgers thick or thin. Sandwich the meat between two patty papers for a cleaner result. The patty papers come in a box of 1,000 and I don't think I'll ever use them all. However, this burger press must be taken apart completely and cleaned thoroughly after use. When I first used it, I didn't realize that it could be taken apart and when I pulled it out to use it months later, it had an odd smell. You guessed it. A small piece of meat was trapped and rotten between the plates. After further inspection, I discovered the entire press does indeed come apart. The button-like knob on top unscrews, as does the lever screw beneath it. Remove these and then unscrew the bolt for complete access and thorough cleaning in hot, soapy water. Re-assembly is easy too. I keep mine in the original box for easy, flat shelf storage along with the box of patty papers.Date published: 2015-02-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Maureen238 from My husband LOVES this 2 thumbs up from my husband - the burgers are consistently sized and cooked - adding a little of the WS Burger Bomb Carmelized onion Mix-in paste makes them even TASTIER! make sure you order the WS Burger Patty Papers for easy prep and freezing (use 2 per burger, one top & bottom)Date published: 2015-01-21Rated 3 out of 5 by TBurgers from Great press... however .... Works like it's suppose to. LOVE that I can now make my own burger patties and freeze them for cheaper than buying from the store. However, there should be a way to take the press apart to clean it. If you forget, like I did one time, to put paper on the bottom AND top of the burger, you might get a piece of meat stuck in-between the top part of the press that adjust to change the weight of the burgers. Then you end up with a stinking piece of rotting meat stuck in there that you are unable to get to.Date published: 2014-12-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Cweb from Every household should have one....
