Is bottom suppose to loose its copper?

Copper will develop a rich patina over time. This will not affect the pan's cooking performance. To keep the exterior looking new, use a copper polish or a combination of lemon and salt.

How do I clean the stainless steel portion of my fry pan? I have used it once and I can’t get the black stains off

Hi Johli5, 1. Pour a small layer of equal parts water and white vinegar into the pan. 2. Heat the diluted vinegar on the stovetop and allow it to come to a boil. 3. After it boils for a minute, remove the pan from the heat and drain the vinegar down the sink. 4. Add a tablespoon of baking soda to the empty pan (the point here isn’t to create a fizzy volcano by combining vinegar and baking soda, you want the two cleaning agents to operate independently). Baking soda is abrasive and will help to lift the staining. Use a sponge to massage the baking soda into the stainless steel pan interior. 5. Rinse it clean.

Can these pots be used on different cooktops, such as gas burners?

Hi Quick Q, This set is ideal for electric and gas cooktops. It is not induction compatible.

Do the handles on the pots/pans themselves get hot?

Hi TNHomedesign, The handles will become hot if extended over a heating element, but should remain cool enough to handle if extended to the side, away from the heat.

What cleaning pad is recommended to be used to clean and keep the shine of the pans? We've used ours once and it's was a struggle to clean and when we finally cleaned the stains off, it left stains at the bottom.

Hi AE2020, We recommend Bar Keeper's Friend's copper cleaner or Mauviel' Copperbrill to clean this cookware. Salt water completely dissolved in vinegar and applied to a soft cloth can also be used.
