Orders received by 9:00 p.m., Eastern time, Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Alikin from NOT Quick - Returning I bought this cookbook because it is called "Quick" and I wanted recipes that I could easily assemble in the morning before going to work, but none of these recipes are quick in my opinion. Most recipes average 15 ingredients, many of which need to be chopped. Most suggest prep such as browning and a lot also have steps that need to be taken before cooking is finished, which is difficult because I work full time. I gave the book a low rating because it isn't what it claims to be, which is quick. The recipes may be delicious, but I wouldn't know because I won't use the book... I don't have time in the mornings for all the prep. Last winter I decided to start using it regularly and for a few months I made a recipe every Sunday. There are good recipes, but the more I made, the more I noticed a LOT of the same flavour profiles, i.e. same spices/herbs. etc. Some of them are a failure. This weekend I made the Jambalaya and while the flavour is good, it came out like mush. I don't think the rice should be added right at the beginning. The White Beans with Lemon and Rosemary were basically tasteless, even with the amount of garlic added. I will still use the book, but I am less enthusiastic about it now. When I read the description of the Quick Slow Cooking cookbook online, I was excited that there would be minimal preparation of ingredients before the slow cooking would begin. And the recipes looked delicious! But I cannot agree that the prep would be quick. in an initial read-through of the recipes, it appeared that most of them required too much prep of at least one ingredient before it ever made it into the slow cooker. I have returned the cookbook, and will keep a lookout for one that features truly speedy prep.
