Rated 3 out of 5 by memma from Made in China I failed to see the fine print, which stated that this set was made in China. If I had, I would not have bought them. Although, they look very nice, the quality of Chinese products is never good and I always try to stay away from them. Only time will tell on whether they will last me a long time. Already I am afraid of stacking them together for they may get scratched on the surface. They don't feel sturdy and they are definitely not heavy.Date published: 2014-10-21Rated 4 out of 5 by KayLeo from The economical choice. At first glance, these plates seem quite nice. Once you pick it up, feel it, and inspect it a little more closely, you really start to notice little flaws. Glaze is uneven in a few places and there are little speckles in the porcelain. I wish the Open Kitchen collection had appetizer plates. These plates are a nice size for side salads, though. These do not have Apilco or Pillivuyt quality, but they are a fraction of the cost. The Williams-Sonoma Open Kitchen Dinner Plates are perfect for starter homes, dorm living, that kind of thing.Date published: 2014-06-11
