Williams Sonoma Garlic Parmesan & Herb Mashed Potato Seasoning

When it comes to Thanksgiving dinner, you can never have enough mashed potatoes – or enough time to cook. Our savory seasoning combines Parmesan cheese with garlic, chives and thyme to produce a versatile blend that complements both fluffy Idaho russets and buttery Yukon Golds.

Preparation Instructions

• Cook 3 lb. peeled russet or Yukon Gold potatoes until tender, then rice or mash them. In medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine 1 2/3 cups half-and-half, 10 Tbs. unsalted butter and mashed potato seasoning. Heat until butter melts, then whisk until smooth, slightly thickened and simmering, approx. 2–3 minutes. Stir butter mixture along with kosher salt and pepper into potatoes. Let mixture stand for 2 minutes. Serve warm.
