- Use & Care
- Board should be seasoned with a food-grade mineral oil before first use.
- To season the board properly, apply the oil in the direction of the wood grain using a clean, dry cloth. Allow the oil to soak in and repeat with another application. Allow the board to dry and wipe off any excess oil.
- Hand-wash with hot, soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
- Do not soak or submerge board in water.
- Occasionally rub with a food-safe mineral oil to keep wood from drying out.
- To sanitize, wash the board with a solution of one part vinegar to five parts water.
- Remove odors by rubbing the board with kosher or table salt and half a lemon. Let sit for 2 to 3 minutes then wipe clean with a damp cloth. Remove excess moisture with a clean paper towel and stand the board on end to air dry.
- Store in a dry area away from extreme temperatures.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MrsRoss from Poor quality I purchased this board and followed the care instructions- I washed gently with the grain, next, I would apply the oil, however I noticed severe splintering on both sides; Today i exchange day the board, again went to was gently in the direction of the grain, and to no surprise! SPLINTERING!! I’d label this item unsafe for use!Date published: 2018-07-06Rated 1 out of 5 by Sasha from Bad quality This cutting board started separating within a month after use, which wasn't very frequent. The quality is awful and very cheaply made. Save your money, don't buy this.Date published: 2017-04-23Rated 1 out of 5 by LuvCooking2 from Not Solid Wood Purchased this cutting board approximately one month ago and it is already splintering. Even oiling the board did not help. The cutting board is very light, therefore, it appears it is not made of solid walnut..Date published: 2015-11-23Rated 4 out of 5 by Gamecockgirl from Love the cutting board but..... I really was frustrated with the glue used to secure the label to the board. It just wouldn't come off. I am hesitant to use to anything to get it off because I don't want to hurt the product.Date published: 2015-11-07
