The sauce is handcrafted in small batches, beginning with a classic Italian sofrito of carrots, onions, celery and sage. It's finished with fresh cream, wood-smoked pancetta, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and a touch of pure honey. Stir the versatile sauce into pasta, use it as a base for homemade pizza, slather it on top of your favorite protein or mix it into your favorite grain bowl – the possibilities are endless.

Butternut Squash Pancetta Pasta Recipe

• In a large pot of generously salted water, cook 1 lb. (500g) of your favorite dried pasta until al dente, according to package instructions. Meanwhile, in large sauté pan over medium heat, warm 1 jar of pasta sauce until heated through. Drain pasta, reserving 1/4 cup (60ml) of pasta water. Add drained pasta to sauce and stir to coat evenly. Stir in 1 Tbs. to 1/4 cup of pasta water to achieve desired consistency. Divide among individual bowls, then top each with shaved pecorino Romano cheese, freshly ground pepper and drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil. Serve immediately. Makes 6 servings.
