Rated 5 out of 5 by Nina 4 from Perfect for the deck We planted tomatoes, 3 Bush and 1 cherry plant; 3 hills of cucumbers which are cascading down our deck railings; and bell and banana peppers. Everything is growing great. I have a bad back and this is the perfect garden for me. I bought it on sale, but unfortunately, the sale ended, because we wanted another one. One piece of wood split during assembly, that's a minor issue. Put the liner in carefully and it will not rip.Date published: 2018-06-27Rated 5 out of 5 by BobM from Very nice planter! The instructions that came with it were not very helpful but it wasn't too hard to figure everything out. It took about an hour to assemble it after I got all the tools together. It takes a lot of planting medium to fill it and, when full, is very heavy. It took 9 bags of varying sized bags. I've started radishes and bush green beans with cucumbers to follow. So far, I'm happy with it. I would like another one but anything over $220 is out of my league.Date published: 2018-06-24Rated 5 out of 5 by PNWRES from Arrived perfect, easy to assemble! I bought this a few weeks ago and assembled it almost by myself with my husband helping fit the top rail on. My knee is still healing from an accident and this is a perfect way to have a veggie garden without kneeling, plus it looks great and holds a lot of veggies. It should also help keep pests off the plants being so high. I started with small plants and they are growing quickly. We put 6 two cu ft bags of organic container soil in it and that almost came to the top. While the what is planted is maturing I have seeds going for the next batch. Looking forward to lots of fresh herbs and veggies this year without having to wait for or drive to a farmers market! Will try to post a photo soon.Date published: 2018-05-21Rated 5 out of 5 by EKG1 from One VegTrug was not enough! We bought a small wall hugger VegTru for our apartment balcony last year and were very pleased with it. I was excited to see that WS had the medium size and even better that it was on sale. Setup was easier this time using an electric drill. I set it up on my own within 45 minutes. It does take a good deal of dirt to fill. Once filled it is very heavy. Make sure you place it in its permanent home before you start to fill.Date published: 2018-05-18Rated 5 out of 5 by SueK from Beautiful raised planter Received this Veg Trug very quickly and assembled it with my husband in less than an hour. Wood stain is lovely and the wood pieces were in perfect condition. We watched the assembly video available online and it made it very easy to put it together. Pre-drilled holes lined up and looked beautiful when completed. I'm very excited to get to planting this weekend. Happy Mothers day to me!!Date published: 2018-05-12Rated 1 out of 5 by CDogg from Don’t waste your money Even the clearance price for this item is overpriced. When I opened the box one of the wooden side pieces was smashed- I had to glue it back together. Because of the size of the item it would have been too much of a hassle to send back. When I put the liner on, the wood ripped right through the fabric on the corners. The only plus was that it was fairly easy to put together despite the vague instructions. I really expected better quality from Williams Sonoma. I think I know why it’s on clearance.Date published: 2018-04-21
