Rated 5 out of 5 by HeatherKY from Love the Twas the Night Collection I purchased several items from the collection for a 12 person place setting. The dishes / bowls / serving platters are beautiful. They are so festive. As the host for Christmas, I wanted to do something special. I am so happy that I found these. They are now displayed in my china cabinet waiting for next Christmas. Hopefully, the collection will continue for years to come so I can add to my collection as my family grows.Date published: 2019-01-09Rated 5 out of 5 by oboenurse from Gorgeous plates My daughter gave this set of 4 mixed dinner plates to me for Christmas this year and I adore them! They are absolutely elegant, charming and beautiful. I cannot reccommend them enough. I loved them so much that I tried to buy more but they were sold out.Date published: 2018-12-27Rated 1 out of 5 by Adri from Very disappointed I bought a set of 12 dinner plates four years ago, and 12 salad plates two years ago. Obviously, they get very limited use. However, the finish has worn off the plates in places and now the paint is coming off also. I contacted William Sonoma and they said this is normal wear and tear. Even if I used every dinner plate every day for the entire month of December for the last four years, that's 120 uses--or basically four months of use. And I didn't use them that much, clearly. I'm terribly disappointed. I loved these plates. I think they are beautiful and was hoping to have them at least through my children's childhood, if not longer. But I know that once the finish is worn through and the paint starts chipping it's going to start going faster and faster. It was a splurge to buy such expensive plates for such limited use, and not only are they not holding up, William Sonoma is not standing by their product.Date published: 2018-12-20Rated 3 out of 5 by MN20 from Cute plates but many flaws I bought 2 sets of these plates and found flaws on more than half the plates. Either the picture is cracked or crumpled(happens when you don't smooth out the picture well before baking the plate,) the plate has a black spot, or the bottom of the plate is really rough/looks almost chipped. I did not expect this kind of quality from William Sonoma. Maybe I noticed more because I have experience making plates and know what to check. I still like the plates, so hopefully I can exchange them.Date published: 2018-12-04
