Williams Sonoma Reserve Cabernet Glasses, Buy 6-Get 8 Set
Rated 1 out of 5 by Ash94 from Wouldn't Recommend I bought these glasses with the monogram option. When they got here one was shattered & the other had large scuffs all over. I called customer service & they kindly re-shipped new ones, but I am still very disappointed. With the new glasses, the engraved "V" we paid $10 extra per glass for looks pretty awful- when I ran my thumb across the "V" there were tiny pieces of glass all over. While hand-washing them, I noticed there are still large chunks & scuffs out of the surface of both. I also found air bubbles inside the glass of one, & what looks like dirt inside the glass of another, so they both look like they're always dirty. Not to mention we have decided not to drink out of them at all because so much glass keeps falling out of the engraving. For the quality that Williams Sonoma boasts & the prices they charge, these glasses are a huge disappointment. Even if you don't get it monogrammed, evidently you still run the risk of getting glasses with debris & air bubbles in them.Date published: 2017-01-06Rated 4 out of 5 by Chris323 from Very Nice Glasses I bought these just last night and used them immediately with a bottle of Pinot Noir I had. They are very nice glasses and I may eventually buy more to make a full set. The description says "dishwasher safe" but I think I'll wash them by hand. They are thin enough to make me too nervous to put them in the dishwasher. With my last sip of wine, I noticed the words "Williams-Sonoma" etched in the bottom of the glass in tiny letters. It made me chuckle. Perhaps some subliminal advertising when you are at your most vulnerable.Date published: 2014-10-20
