Rated 5 out of 5 by ScottishTerrierLover from Beautiful and Made in the USA I love love love this pan. I’ve not seen it sold in this color on any other website. I use Bak Klene baking spray and have never dusted it with flour and have had no issues with cakes releasing. i can say the say for the large bundt pan as well. This pan holds a very large amount of cake batter. I recently made a scratch made Almond Pound Cake and it used every bit of the 18 cup capacity while baking. It turned out beautifully with that crunchy pound cake top. I have used this tube pan for every type of cake including angel food cakes and pound cakes. I highly recommend it and I love the pale gold mist color.Date published: 2019-02-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Angie from Made Well This pan is everything I imagined my cakes turn out so tall and they turn out of the pan so easily I'm so happy with this product that I purchased several other bundts they are heavy and so well made I do plan on purchasing more to enhance my baking arsenal!Date published: 2018-12-04Rated 3 out of 5 by JohnnieGirl from Works well but overpriced and not as pictured I had purchased this pan from Williams-Sonoma and another online retailer. The pans that arrived from both were not as they appeared in the images online. The pan has a pale gray exterior and a darker gray interior as opposed to the light golden color seen on screen. I contacted Nordic Ware and they confirmed that this is how they’re now being made. I bake often so I’ve had an opportunity to use it twice. It functions beautifully. The cakes released wonderfully. The large 18-cup capacity will accommodate the most robust recipes. The height and flat bottom create a tall, utilitarian pound cake perfect for displaying a crusty top that can be left as is or topped with a glaze. However, the price point at Williams-Sonoma Was significantly higher than the other retailer. Since the Williams-Sonoma pan is still unused, I will be returning it.Date published: 2018-02-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Countess from Nordic Ware is AAA+ for baking I bake a lot and I often use Nordic Ware pans. They are treated to not stick and they have great heat circulation which produces evenly baked cakes. I've used Nordic Ware for years, 45 plus years to be exact. I highly recommend these pans .Date published: 2016-10-03
On other websites, this pan is advertised as an "Angel Food Cake / Pound Cake" pan. My worry is that since it is non-stick, it really won't work for an angel food cake; I don't think the batter can "climb" up the sides. Can you clarify? Thank you.
