Preparation Instructions

• 4-lb. (2-kg) chicken, cut into 8 serving pieces
• 2 Tbs. oil
• Salt and pepper
• 1 jar Meyer Lemon Braising Sauce

Season 4-lb. (2-kg) chicken, cut into 8 serving pieces, with salt and pepper.

In large fry pan or Dutch oven over medium-high heat, warm 2 Tbs. oil until just smoking. Working in batches, brown chicken on all sides.

If using slow cooker, transfer chicken to insert and add braising sauce. Cover and cook on low until chicken is fork-tender, about 4 hours.

If using oven, return all chicken to pot and add braising sauce. Cover, transfer to 350°F (180°C) oven and cook until chicken is fork-tender, about 1 hour.

Skin fat off sauce and serve.

Serves 4 to 6.
