Knife Aid Mail-In Sharpening Service accepts most knife brands and can sharpen chef’s, paring, utility, serrated, Eastern-style, cleaver, steak, filet, hunting, fishing and pocket knives. It also accepts scissors and shears. Extra fees apply for ceramic knives, single-bevel knives and re-serration of knives. Broken tip and chip repair are available for an added fee. It does not accept straight razors, swords, switchblades or knives longer than 16". Blades without handles, double-serrated knives and saw blades are also not accepted.

Knives are trackable while using this service, and custom sleeves protect them during transport. Custom sleeves protect knives during transport. A prepaid envelope is included for mailing.
