Holiday Slice & Bake Cookies

These buttery, colorful pinwheel cookie-dough logs are great to have on hand for holiday celebrations. All you need to do is slice, bake and enjoy. Made with fragrant vanilla, real butter and crunchy sugared edges, they're specially made for us by Sweet Things Bakery, a San Francisco Bay Area favorite for more than three decades.

• Three logs (each makes approx. 24 cookies).
• 3 lb. 4 oz. total.
• Cookies measure approx. 2 3/4" diam. when baked.
• Shipped frozen to arrive chilled.

Receiving Instructions

• The cookie dough ships frozen to arrive chilled. Upon receipt, store the dough in the refrigerator or freezer. Well sealed, the dough will keep up to 1 week in the refrigerator and up to 3 months frozen.

Preparation

• Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove cookie dough from its packaging and cut crosswise into 1/3"-thick slices. Place the slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake until golden brown around the edges, about 10 to 12 minutes.

• Bread Flour (unbleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), salted butter, powdered sugar (sugar, cornstarch), red sugar (sucrose, FD&C #40 Alum Lake), granulated sugar, pure vanilla, red gel color (water, high fructose corn syrup, glycerine, FD&C Red #40, sugar, modified food starch, FD&C Red #3, FD&C Yellow #5, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, carrageenan gum, xanthan gum, citric acid), green gel color (water, high fructose corn syrup, glycerine, FD&C Yellow #5, sugar, modified food starch, FD&C Blue #1, citric acid, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, carrageenan gum, xanthan gum).
