Blue Cheese Brie En Croute

A great way to start a party, brie en croute is the ideal appetizer. Featuring a wheel of full-flavored cow's milk brie, our savory version of the classic is enhanced with tangy blue cheese, bacon, garlic and scallions, and wrapped in flaky puff pastry topped with festive leaf designs. Simply bake until golden brown and aromatic, serve and enjoy.

• 1 lb. 11 oz. (serves 12–20).
• 6" diam., 2 1/2" high unbaked.
• Shipped frozen.

Receiving Instructions

• The brie ships frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, store brie in freezer where it will keep for up to 12 months unopened.

Serving Instructions

• Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove brie from freezer, place in pie tin or on rimmed cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and place on center rack of oven. Bake for 45–50 minutes, until pastry has browned to your liking. 

• Brie Cheese: Pasteurized cow's milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes.
• Puff Pastry: Unbleached enriched wheat flour (flour niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate [vitamin B1], riboflavin [vitamin B2], folic acid) water, vegetable oils, (palm oil, soybean oil), contains 2% or less of the following: high-fructose corn syrup, salt, monoglycerides, soy lecithin, extractive of turmeric, extractive of annatto.
• Filling: Blue cheese, garlic, scallions (green onion), bacon (pork, water, salt, sugar, sodium phosphate, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrite).
