Rated 3 out of 5 by GadgetGirl from Adding Liquid is Not Easy Very basic, no options. Small but convenient for quick jobs. No ability to add food while appliance is running. Ability to add liquid while running (like pesto) is limited to a very small hole in the top which was not useful for adding a quantity of olive oil. Mostly I use this when my inversion blender would be awkward.Date published: 2019-10-28Rated 5 out of 5 by Dejavoo from Little Powerhouse I've had many food processors throughout the years and wound up getting rid of them because they were big and cumbersome and difficult to store. Since I'm cooking for just myself now, I do not need a large machine. I have found this little 5 cup model to be just perfect for me. It is very simple to assemble and just as simple to disassemble and clean. It does a terrific job chopping my foods into tiny portions. I find that the two buttons for forward and backward are simple and effective for chopping just the right size. It is also easy to store on a shelf and is lightweight. I couldn't be happier with my little powerhouse. It was a good investment.Date published: 2019-10-04Rated 3 out of 5 by Mimama from Difficult, but good I bought this processor based on America’s Test Kitchen recommendation... I have used a Krups processor for years without a problem, just wanted something a little bit larger...this processor is a little more difficult... it’s harder to mount on the base and lock into place... tried for a fairly great amount of time to secure and remove the blade in the bowl,... then try to lock into place. Had it not been for U-tube, I would have returned it. Much more difficult than necessary..:. I’ve yet to use it... if it continues to be this difficult, I will give it to one of my daughters and let them figure it out or throw it away, like many of my other gifts.Date published: 2019-09-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Nanny Jo from Cuisinart Elemental 4 Cup Chopper It may be small but definitely does the job! I love that it fits inside the kitchen cabinets so it very handy at all times! The Matte Black is beautiful!Date published: 2019-06-29Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathy from Cincinnati from 4 cup chopper. Very easy to use. Very nice look in my kitchen. I love the color of it.Date published: 2019-06-12Rated 2 out of 5 by Houseman from Quality issue After 6 months of use, the notch on the top lid is broken, now the chopper does not workDate published: 2019-05-02Rated 5 out of 5 by Lori from Owner error I had read the reviews about this product not starting fresh out of the box, but figured I would give it a try anyway, When I first tried it, I couldn't get it to start, I read the directions again and again. Finally I took it back to the store for some help. I wasn't putting the lid on correctly. It can be put on tightly, but be completely in the wrong spot. The long plastic prong has to go into the metal slit in the back. Now that I can work it, I absolutely love it. Lots of power, so be sure and hold on to it when using.Date published: 2019-04-22Rated 4 out of 5 by Annemarie from nice small chopper i like that it's small and light. It's much easier to use on small jobs than pulling out my full size food processor. I was a little disappointed that the blade rusted after a few uses. thankfully Cuisinart replaced the blade immediatelyDate published: 2019-03-31
