Next Day Delivery

For an additional charge of $17.50 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. This service is not available for some oversize items, items shipped directly from the supplier (including perishable and custom-manufactured items), out-of-stock items and items to be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states.

Orders received by 9:00 p.m., Eastern time, Monday through Thursday will arrive the next business day; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on the following Tuesday.

Return Policy

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request).

For all cutlery returns (knife sets, single knives, cutting boards, knife sharpeners, and knife storage) please contact us at 888.922.4108 to initiate the return.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food, items shipped direct from the vendor, or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 or .99 cannot be returned.

Made to Order and Final Sale Furniture items are non-returnable, and cannot be cancelled once the order is placed.

The jar size is at least 20-25% smaller and the peppermints are also smaller, there's hardly any chocolate in the peppermints! So sad! This was one of the traditions of our Christmas for many years, but we will not continue buying it unless it is changed back to what it used to be. This is so unlike W-S! In fact, I am not likely to buy items I can get elsewhere after this experience.

We have enjoyed these for so many Christmas holidays! Why the decision to change to much smaller container and a lesser quality candy??

My parents loved these peppermint snaps and wanted to buy them again, however, I would be too embarrassed as they are half the size. Do you really think no one would notice, William Sonoma you are better than this, go back to the original size!

Used to send these as gifts sight unseen--always received rave thank yous from my family, friends & clients. I could always depend on sending something from your company. Now I cannot blindly trust that it will be good quality. Poor planning Williams Sonoma!

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Star Rating quite inaccurate The Overall star rating is a 2.5. But when I looked at the reviews, most of the recent reviews were only a 1. It looks like you are using reviews that are more than a year old in generating your overall star rating. Anyone that looks at the actual reviews can see that the current reviews are quite poor. I was in the store today hoping to buy a jar. When I saw that the size of the candy was quite different than what I have purchased in past years, I decided not to buy them. Probably a good decision. I may check to see if the outlet store has any older versions.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointed! I've gotten these peppermint snaps for years and have adored them. But they are nowhere near as good as they were before, and I am really disappointed. They are much thicker than they have been, with most of that thickness coming in the form of more peppermint candy rather than chocolate. Also I feel that the quality of the peppermint has decreased, with its flavor bordering on toothpaste. I won't get these again, and if I could I'd get a refund.
