Regalis Burgundy Truffles, 2oz

Prized for their pungent, nutty aroma and earthy warmth, Regalis Burgundy truffles elevate everything from meat and pasta to egg dishes and roasted potatoes. They're harvested in a wild location in Spain, where they grow deep in the soil until discovered by traditional truffle dogs. Use the truffles within a few days of arrival to fully enjoy their exquisite seasonal flavor.

• 2–3 Regalis Burgundy truffles.
• 2-oz. box (serves approx. 4).

Receiving Instructions

• Upon receipt, wrap fresh truffles in dry paper towels and store in airtight container or bag in refrigerator. Keep truffles dry, as moisture causes them to deteriorate. Typical shelf life of truffles is up to 5 days, but they can last up to 10 days if kept continually cold and wrapped individually in dry paper towels. For best aroma and flavor, consume fresh truffles within 48 hours of receiving.

Serving Instructions

• Fresh truffles are best served at room temperature. Remove truffles from refrigerator 2 hours prior to serving. Shave them onto prepared dish with truffle shaver, mandolin or grater immediately before serving. Warming or cooking truffles enhances flavor – for best results, pair with eggs, cheese, cream, oil and other fat-rich food.
