If within 30 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges.   • Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design! We had the previous Grind and Brew when they first came out, it died. So, I thought I will get the new machine which has been updated, so I thought. What design failure!. The chute fit is very poor, the coffee basket is a poor fit as water fills up the drip tray then overflows. Today I planned on doing my weekly cleaning of the grinder. Can't remove the bean hopper.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great coffee but definite issues with maintenance Purchased the coffee maker in June 2016 and performance issues just outside of the warranty period. Customer service is available ONLY Monday thru Friday from 8-5 and we had house guests over the weekend with no support. The 001 error message would not clear and the round disc would not move for cleaning of the chute. VERY disappointed. We have enjoyed the Breville brand with several of our appliances, but very surprised and disappointed with this untimely product failure. As with another reviewer, it was a replacement of a Capresso that had been in service 8-10 years, with virtually the same features.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Noticeable upgrade I had some reservations about buying this machine. The reviews seemed to be all over the place. But, I took a leap of faith as my Capresso Grind n Brew was on its last legs. I've had it for about 6 weeks now and so far, absolutely no regrets. Addressing some of the complaints I read: 1) Noise - it's no more noisy than the Capresso or the Cuisinart Grind models. In fact, it may be a little less noisy. Grinders are noisy and I don't think anyone's figured out how to make a "quiet" grinder. In my opinion, super small price to pay for having the optimum in fresh cofffee. 2) carafe issues - the carafe is great. It keeps the coffee more than "drinkable" for hours. I typically brew at 0600 on the weekends. I've poured coffee as much as 4 hours later and it's still hot. No leaks/drips yet either. 3) grinder issues - this was the most common and seemingly most troublesome complaint. I think that Breville put a considerable amount of effort into this and thus far I've not had one issue nor have I had to glean the burrs/chute yet. The grind looks very consistent and the response ot the grind adjustments are noticeable. This could all fall apart as I realize that I have not had the unit all that long yet. But I make at least one pot (and sometimes more) every day. The Tate of the coffee is a noticeable improvement . I live in Colorado Springs, at elevation. My home is at ~ 6600 feet of elevation. The Capresso was sputtering and gurgling and the brew was weak. I don't know how but the Breville does not seem to be affected by altitude; at least not to the extent that the Capresso was. The single cup/travel cup feature works very well and automatically lets the hot water infuse int he grinds on a delay to expose the grinds to the water more. Best single serve cup I've had out of any machine other than the Keurigs. The water fill meter is all digital and provides a very convenient platform for filling accurately. The adjustments are more varied than the Capresso and it even includes a calibration feature to precisely grind the exact amount based on the bean, roast, etc. For now, I highly recommend this if you're a fan of having the freshest pot/cup of coffee possible waiting for you int he morning.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Makes a good cup of coffee but... Bought this coffeemaker after having a pod coffeemaker. First let me say, it does make great coffee. However, it is difficult to clean, which the instructions say to do EACH TIME you use it. My husband and I found the lock/unlock knob for the grinder is difficult to position in the exact correct spot. If every little crumb of coffee bean is not out of the grinder area, the basket that holds the beans won't latch and lock. And the brush that is included for cleaning is a joke. Also the thermal carafe does keep the coffee hot - if you warm it first with very hot water - but because of the way the pour spout is made on the inside, it's difficult to pour the last of the coffee without removing the lid and turning almost upside down. I'm taking it back tomorrow,

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Weak coffee I bought this coffee maker because of the grinder. I love fresh strong coffee and only want to make a single cup before work and an entire pot on weekends. The coffee was as weak and the color of tea even though I program it for the strongest. I returned it and doing research for a new coffee machine that will more suit my needs.

I could not get a decent cup of coffee. I tried several different bean types, it was either too weak or way too strong.. Just a horrible coffee machine for the price and still horrible if it was free.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from ZERO STARS-Not worth the investment! I wanted to love this but this coffee maker is inconsistent. One day I will get an 8 oz cup of coffee the next 12 oz even though the settings aren't the same. I have the brew strength set on 8 (the highest level) and its never strong enough. I have talked to customer servicer, calibrated, descaled, tried a dozen different coffees, whole bean and pre-ground. I have given this coffee maker more chances than it deserves. I wish I would have returned it or listened to the negative reviews before buying but I wanted a coffee make that did it all. I expected way too much! My $25 coffee maker makes better coffee but it doesn't brew by the cup. Going to try the Ninja.
