Rated 5 out of 5 by Skip_Diver from Top Notch Cookware What a joy cooking is now that I have switched from thin aluminum to the quality of All-Clad cookware! Following a complete remodeling of our home which now incorporates a ‘gourmet kitchen’ the old stuff just didn’t look right. I chose All-Clad because of the heavy stainless steel construction, even heating, and the “Made in USA” label. I have two of the 1.5 qt. and one 3 qt. sauce pans, the double boiler insert for the 3 qt. pan, plus a 10" skillet w/cover and a 12" skillet with cover. Being able to metal utensils makes cooking a breeze.Date published: 2019-08-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Ichael from Great pot Very handy size, great performance. It’s the perfect size for one or two people. Ideal for cooking rice or sauces, or just heating up soup. Very durable and a pleasure to use.Date published: 2019-02-05Rated 5 out of 5 by Swifty from Simple the best Recently upgraded all my cookware to All-Clad. Simple impressed with the quality of all the products. I debated going for D5 line. They were a bit to heavy for wife. The D3 line performs so well, I don’t feel like I settled. Great feel, finish and the lids seal well. Highly recommend All-CladDate published: 2019-01-29Rated 5 out of 5 by Mary L. from Perfect! Both the All-clad stainless steel and non-stick pans claim clean-up ease. I worry about the long-term likelihood of clean-up ease for sauce and fry pans without non-stick coating. After considerable use how do customers find the comparative clean-up?Hi jill, All-Clad D3 cookware's trii-ply construction sandwiches a heat-responsive aluminum core between easy-care stainless-steel interiors and exteriors. Bonded-metal construction ensures fast, even heating. Stainless-steel cooking surface with starburst finish provides superior stick resistance and won't react with foods. As long as you are caring for the cookware as instructed, the clean-up of a stainless interior pan should not be problematic.Date published: 2019-05-26
My current brand of stainless steel cookware have copper bottoms and the Use instructions state that I should only use Low and Medium heat or that bottom might be damaged or even come off. Can All-Clad D3 cookware be used on a high heat?Hi Pamela, All-Clad is designed to distribute heat quickly and evenly, preventing hot spots and sticking. High heat should only be used for boiling. Overheating can cause brown or blue stains to appear.Date published: 2019-01-21
