Hi mcook, The pot features the Le Creuset name embossed on the handle and engraved on the knob. A logo sticker on the side of the pot should be removed before cooking.

Dors this work on an induction stove top?

Ive always cooked w/gas & just recently made the move to induction. Love it so much better. I had Le Creuset pots I had never used before sitting in my cabinets. Now I use nothing but my Le Creuset on my induction cooktop. They work perfectly! I am buying more

Does the handle get hot when cooking?

We can confirm that the Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast Iron Saucepan handle gets hot when cooking. As the saucepan conducts heat during cooking, the handle will absorb some of that heat. To ensure your safety while using the saucepan, we always recommend using oven mitts or pot holders when handling hot cookware.

Which handle (knob) is on the lid for the 2 - 1/4 Qt. sauce pot, the black or the metal one as there are pictures that show different ones? I am interested in the black handle one only.
