Multi-Cooker Steamed Salmon with Salsa Verde
Steaming is a healthful way to prepare fish, and it’s easy to do in the Philips multicooker. Just set the timer and you’ll enjoy perfectly cooked salmon in 5 minutes. Serve with our piquant salsa verde.
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 4 salmon fillets, each about 6 oz. (185 g)
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 1 cup (8 fl. oz./250 ml) salsa verde
Pour water into a Philips multicooker to a depth of 2 inches (5 cm). Set the multicooker on the boil/steam setting and set the cook time to 5 minutes. Set the steam basket in the multicooker and brush with the olive oil.
Season the salmon with salt and pepper and place in the steam basket. Close the lid and steam until the fish is firm and light pink. Transfer the salmon to individual plates and drizzle with the salsa verde. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
