Apple-Beet-Carrot Juice

For a hint of green color and even more nutrients, juice some spinach or kale leaves with the other ingredients, if desired.

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple
  • 3 beets
  • 3 large carrots
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger
  • Handful of spinach or kale leaves, stemmed (optional)

Directions:

Wash the ingredients well, then cut them up as needed to fit through the chute of your juicer. Juice the ingredients in the order listed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Serve immediately. Serves 1.
