Strawberry and Kiwi Smoothie
Banana and yogurt add creaminess to this smoothie, which gets its brightness from fresh strawberries and kiwifruit. If fresh strawberries aren’t in season, you can use frozen instead. If you like, you can garnish the smoothies with additional sliced strawberries, kiwifruit or your favorite fresh fruit.
- 1 cup (4 oz./125 g) fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 kiwifruit, peeled
- 1 ripe banana, peeled and halved
- 1/2 cup (4 oz./125 g) plain yogurt
- 1 cup (4 oz./125 g) ice cubes
In a Vitamix blender, combine the strawberries, kiwi, banana, yogurt and ice. Blend, slowly increasing the blender speed to high, until smooth, about 1 minute. Divide between 2 glasses and serve immediately. Serves 2.
