Oogie Boogie Brew
Kelly Senyei, founder of the food site Just a Taste and host of The Sports & Forks Podcast, invites you to raise a glass to Halloween Town. She writes, “This green, glowing concoction can be made two ways: mocktails for the mini monsters and cocktails for the ghoulish grown-ups. Fizzy and fresh, this versatile mix will leave you screaming for more.”
Ingredients:
For the mocktail:
- 3 cups (24 fl. oz./750 ml) green fruit-flavored drink, such as Green Berry Rush Hawaiian Punch or Fierce Green Apple Gatorade
- 2 cups (16 fl. oz./500 ml) pineapple juice
- 4 cups (32. fl oz./1 l) lemon-lime soda
- Ice for serving
For the cocktail:
- 2 cups (16 fl. oz./500 ml) Midori Melon Liqueur
- 1 cup (8 fl. oz./250 ml) vodka
- 2 cups (16 fl. oz./500 ml) pineapple juice
- 4 cups (32. fl oz./1 l) lemon-lime soda
- Ice or dry ice for serving
Directions:
To make the mocktail, in a large pitcher, stir together the green drink, juice and soda. Fill serving glasses with ice, ladle in the mocktail and serve.
To make the cocktail, in a large pitcher, stir together the liqueur, vodka, juice and soda.
Fill serving glasses with ice, ladle in the cocktail and serve.
Makes 8 drinks.
