Bellwether Farms Crème Fraîche: Award-winning, cultured Grade-A pasteurized crème fraîche is made in Petaluma, California. The traditional recipe uses only the cream of fresh milk to create the perfect texture with subtle flavor.

Tsar Nicoulai French-Style Blinis: Premade and imported from France, these small, round mini pancakes are low in fat with a tender texture.

Tsar Nicoulai Blini Mix: Made with buckwheat, the mix is handcrafted in small batches from organic ingredients using an old-world French recipe. This results in nutty, buttery, rustic country flavor and tender texture.

Kit includes:

• Blini Mix (8 oz.; 8 servings)
• Reusable black canvas thermo cooler bag
• 2 mother-of-pearl serving spoons (3 1/2" long)

Receiving Instructions

• Food items ship chilled with ice packs. 
• Crème Fraîche: Upon receipt, store unopened in refrigerator for up to 30 days. Once opened, enjoy within 4–5 days. 
• Premade Blinis: Store unopened in refrigerator for up to 30 days. Once opened, enjoy within 5–7 days.
• Blini Mix: Store unopened at room temperature for up to 30 days or in refrigerator for up to 8 months. Once opened, enjoy immediately.

Preparation Instructions

• Premade Blinis: Preheat toaster oven to 350°F. Place frozen or thawed blinis on tray and warm for 1–2 minutes on each side. Alternatively, toast in lightly buttered or oiled skillet for 1–2 minutes on each side.
• Blini Mix: Follow instructions on packet to mix batter. Pour dollop the size of a silver dollar onto hot, buttered skillet. Cook on both sides for approx. 2 minutes, until lightly browned with toasted edges.

Serving Instructions 

• Serve with caviar, smoked salmon or smoked sturgeon, and your choice of diced red onions, diced egg yolks, diced egg whites, diced chives, capers, butter, charcuterie or pâté.

• Crème Fraîche: Cultured Grade-A pasteurized crème.
• Premade Blinis: Water, wheat flour, sunflower oil, lactose, milk proteins, skimmed milk powder, whey powder, dehydrated egg whites, whole eggs, disodium diphosphate (raising agent), sodium, bicarbonate, salt, ascorbic acid (antioxidant).
• Blini Mix: Organic whole-wheat flour, organic buckwheat flour, organic cane sugar, baking powder, salt.
