Southern Baked Buttermilk Pie, Serves 8-12

Amanda Wilbanks – founder of Georgia's Southern Baked Pie Company – creates her irresistible desserts using family recipes and local ingredients. This classic custard pie is one of her signature treats. It's prepared with tangy buttermilk, eggs and vanilla, seasoned with a hint of nutmeg, then baked until golden in a tender, all-butter crust. Serve each slice with whipped cream for a decadent finish to a special meal.

• Shipped frozen.

Receiving Instructions

• Pie ships frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.
• Upon receipt, store pie in refrigerator for up to 3 days or in freezer for up to 6 months.

Serving Instructions

• If frozen, thaw in refrigerator overnight. 
• Pie is fully cooked and can be served chilled or at room temperature.

• Buttermilk (whole milk, cultured buttermilk), butter (pasteurized cream, natural flavorings), sugar, flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin), egg, water, salt, vanilla, nutmeg.
