Glazed almonds were first served at lavish feasts in ancient Greece, and sugared almonds dazzled guests at the 1533 wedding feast of Catherine de Médicis and the future King Henry II of France. That history makes our red, white and pink Médicis almonds an especially romantic treat for Valentine's Day. Made at a family-owned confectionery in France, they're prepared using premium Spanish almonds encased in thin hazelnut praline and sugar shells. The box makes a heartfelt gift for someone sweet.

Red Almonds:

• Sugar, almonds (18%), cocoa mass, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, hazelnut paste, arabic gum, rice starch, potato starch, emulsifier (soy lecithin), flavorings, glazing agents (carnauba wax, shellac, beeswax), colorings (FD&C Red #3, dehydrated beets, synthetic iron oxide).

White Almonds:

• Sugar, almonds (43%), rice starch, potato starch, arabic gum, glucose syrup, artificial flavors, natural flavors, colors (Blue #2).

Pink Almonds:

• Sugar, almonds (18%), cocoa mass, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, hazelnut paste, arabic gum, rice starch, potato starch, emulsifier (soy lecithin), flavorings, glazing agents (carnauba wax, shellac, beeswax), colorings (Red #40, dehydrated beets, synthetic iron oxide).
