Elderflower White Cosmopolitan
Read Reviews >
The cosmo is an embellished descendant of the classic gimlet, made with lime juice and gin. It’s also a kissing cousin of the vodka-based kamikaze and of another cranberry cooler, the Cape Codder. Here, elderflower lends a wonderful aroma to this riff on a perennial cocktail. If you’re looking for other uses for elderflower liqueur, try adding a splash to Prosecco or use it to flavor panna cotta.
Ingredients
- Ice as needed
- 1/4 cup vodka
- 2 Tbs. St-Germain elderflower liqueur
- 2 Tbs. white cranberry juice
- 1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
- Edible flowers for garnish
Directions
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, elderflower liqueur, white cranberry juice and lemon juice. Cover, shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Float a flower on top and serve immediately. Serves 1.

Wedding drink
Had this drink at my wedding as one of the specialty options and it was a huge hit. I chose it because it was white/clear and I wanted very few colored drinks near my dress. Many guests even asked the bartenders for the recipe. Strongly recommend and will be using it again for other celebrations.
