- Spice Rubbed Bone in Ribeye Recipe
Season both sides of the steaks with the spice rub, patting the rub onto the steak so that it adheres. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Heat a large cast-iron fry pan over a campfire, hot grill, or stove set to medium-high heat until it is very hot, about 3 minutes. Add the steaks to the pan and cook, turning once, until well seared and cooked to medium-rare, 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your liking.
When the steaks are about halfway done, add the peppers to the pan with the steak. Sear, turning them occasionally, until slightly charred, about 5 minutes.
Transfer the steaks to a carving board and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Transfer the peppers to a platter. Cut the steak into strips and arrange on the platter with the peppers. Serve immediately. Serves 4.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JP5533 from Terrible Non-Stick Pans! Much like other reviews, these worked great the first month or two. But now, everything stick to them as bad as any pan I've ever had! I'm very gentle with these pans and cook eggs on them just about every morning and even with a little oil, they constantly stick. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these pans, unless you want to constantly fight with your food sticking.Date published: 2019-03-14Rated 1 out of 5 by ItsMaxxNYC from Don’t buy. You will throw away I typically have absolute satisfaction with Williams Sonoma products... NOT this one!!! Everything sticks! You can never get it clean again. Seriously harder to clean than my cast iron Staub cast iron. I wish I could return. I had to pitch both pans.Date published: 2019-01-30Rated 2 out of 5 by NYcrafter from Don't buy it It only works for the first month. After that a total disaster! So hard to clean. It is not a non-stick pan for sure. Never cook eggs with this! Ready to get rid of it now.Date published: 2019-01-19Rated 4 out of 5 by lgo16 from One of the better ceramic pans We've had these pans for about 9 months now. We started with Green pans but those were staining and going dowhill. These are a much better upgrade, and so far no issues with non-stick removal. We use only with olive oil, and mostly for eggs. I handwash only (i think that was the recommendation) so know what you are signing up for. All in all a good value at $60 for 2, however we don't use everyday due to handwash.Date published: 2019-01-19Rated 3 out of 5 by Knicks from removed stains via self cleaning oven I've had 2 of these pans for over a year now. I use the smaller of the 2 for cooking sausages and scrambling eggs, always with avocado oil which is rated to have a smoke point of over 500 degrees F. Over time, the smaller pan got stained likely from oils and fat from sausage links, not the cooking oil. Cleaning with a plastic scouring pad could not remove the stains. I ran my oven's self cleaning feature with the stained pan inside and it came out clean with the stains gone. The handle slightly lost its lustre, likely from oxidation, but the cooking surface was as clean as new. I used whirlpool self cleaning conduction oven. I added 1 cup of filtered water to the pan before starting the clean cycle. I did not give the pan a higher rating because in as much as I enjoy using it, cleaning and maintenance is more difficult than I would prefer....and ceftainly not at the price point the pans are sold at. As a loyal customer, I expect better quality from Williams Sonoma, which I think is a top tier brand in terms of quality.Date published: 2019-01-17Rated 2 out of 5 by Suzy from After six months, everything sticks. Loved the pans at first. After six months everything sticks. They do still look great. Would not recommend.Date published: 2019-01-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Mikem from Fantastic pans! I have had these for more than a year and have absolutely no stinking problems! I use only chicken or vegetable broth no oil. Very Good on my induction cooking plate. Cleanup is super easy! even just running water will mostly clean the pan ! Very good durability and the ceramic nonstick surface better than other ones I have. Highly recommend these pan!Date published: 2019-01-07Rated 1 out of 5 by cmarchetta from WASTE OF MONEY I wish I'd seen these reviews before we purchased. The associate raved about them but they are TERRIBLE! Several reviews I read state it perfectly. They work great... at first.. but give them a few months and everything sticks; they are impossible to clean. Don't waste your money!Date published: 2019-01-03
