- Spice Rubbed Bone in Ribeye Recipe
Season both sides of the steaks with the spice rub, patting the rub onto the steak so that it adheres. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Heat a large cast-iron fry pan over a campfire, hot grill, or stove set to medium-high heat until it is very hot, about 3 minutes. Add the steaks to the pan and cook, turning once, until well seared and cooked to medium-rare, 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your liking.
When the steaks are about halfway done, add the peppers to the pan with the steak. Sear, turning them occasionally, until slightly charred, about 5 minutes.
Transfer the steaks to a carving board and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Transfer the peppers to a platter. Cut the steak into strips and arrange on the platter with the peppers. Serve immediately. Serves 4.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Gerry from Poor Quality After a few short months both pans have lost their non-stick surface and I used care when storing, washing and never any metal or harsh abrasives on them.Date published: 2018-03-13Rated 1 out of 5 by DeedeeSD from Hard to clean! The pans were OK in the beginning but after few months food stuck to the surface much more than cast iron pans (even with a bit of oil). expected more for the WS brand & price/no longer use theseDate published: 2018-02-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovetocook from Love these pans I bought these pans a couple of weeks ago. I have fried bacon and eggs in them. I have also sauté onions in them. I love them. There was no sticking at all. I fried some bacon in one and some bacon in my all clad. They both cooked the bacon well. However, the clean up with the new pans was a breeze compared to the all clad. I also think they cooked the bacon more evenly than al clad. Cooking everything on medium heat is not a handicap for these fry pans.Date published: 2018-01-30Rated 3 out of 5 by pinkbrownie from not good for fried eggs! I bought 2 of these pans (9 and 10 inch) last year and I love them for the things I cook in them (scrambled eggs, veggies, etc). But my husband fries eggs and they always stick no matter how much oil he uses! He hates these pans and I will never repurchase for that reason. I don't eat fried eggs but as long as he does, this pan won't work for us. Otherwise, it's easy to clean.Date published: 2017-12-31Rated 5 out of 5 by FLsharon from Very happy I was surprised by the bad ratings as I have owned these pans for several years and they work wonderfully and are as nice as the first day I used them. You cannot use over high heat which is clearly stated in the care instructions.Date published: 2017-12-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Kiki88 from By far, my best non-stick pans I was shocked by some of the bad reviews... This has been, by far, my favorite set of non-stick pans. I was very skeptical about the ceramic because I've had awful ceramic pans in the past, but I purchased them because I cook for my children and don't want the chemicals from traditional non-stick... These are FANTASTIC. I assume most of the bad reviews were people who used these on high heat, which you should never do, anyway. I've had mine for about 5 months and use the small one multiple times daily (and the larger one several times weekly) and they are in great shape. They are the easiest pans to clean. I usually use a soft sponge and some dish soap and water and everything comes RIGHT off. They are also surprisingly lightweight. I recommend them to all of my friends. I love, love, LOVE them!!Date published: 2017-12-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Bev43 from Love these pans! I have two of these ceramic pans and love them. I use no higher than medium heat and use either oo or butter. It takes a while for the pans to heat up but then they are really hot and when I am finished cooking I let them cool completely before washing them. I've had these pans for over 6 months and use one or the other of them daily and and they still look brand new. Best buy ever!Date published: 2017-10-12Rated 1 out of 5 by khoobunny from DISAPPOINTED! Not Non-Stick and Hard to Clean! Hardly 5 uses into using the small and large pans, my food is sticking to the surface even when I had to put more oil in the pan than usual. Clean up is hard trying to get the brown stains out even after soaking it overnight. I've had other cheaper non-stick pans that work out better than this one. Greatly disappointed and would not recommend anyone buying - waste of money! And I've always wanted to try a ceramic set....Date published: 2017-09-30
